I have decided to try my hand at running a photoblog. Since getting my Canon 350D digital SLR two Christmas’ ago, I have been madly snapping and trying to improve my photography. I figured it might be good to get a bit of feedback on some of my shots from the vast resource of photography-loving people who reside within the interweb.
My plan is to post a new picture every single day. With a little luck, some people might stumble across the site, enjoy the shots and maybe even leave a comment or two.

I have a habit of changing my desktop wallpaper nearly as often as I change my underware.
This week I have chosen a wallpaper by Tuan Nguyen who runs a photoblog: ayusaki.com. He has a selection of other pics for wallpaper use and his photography is very good. Check it out.
We had a trio of feathered friends visit us in our garden yesterday morning. Jane was shitting herself, I thought it was cool.

Well, it’s Sunday night and the wedding is over. The post-wedding BBQ was on today and that’s now finished too. I believe it’s safe to declare the entire weekend as a huge success. The bride was beautiful and her groom scrubbed up pretty well also.
The ceremony was well done and not too long, but the real fun was at the reception. Yummy food, nice wine, rocking music, lots of dancing, wonderful company and an excellent venue all helped to make one very cool party.
As per usual, I went beserk with the camera and ended up with about 700 photos at the end of the night. About 100 were not worth a second look and got deleted immediately, but there were some pretty good ones in the remaining 600 (if I do say so myself!).
