After 6 days, it’s finally time to head back to work tomorrow. I’m more than ready, the long weekend has been fun, but the “working days” last week when I was home sick were tediously boring. I suppose I could have spent my time doing something more industrious, but I was sick.
As per usual, at the end of a weekend, I’m left wondering how I will ever have a chance of winning a single round in the footy tipping, let alone the whole competition! I got 5 winners this week, but there were people in my competition at work who got 7. Now I’m 3 off the pace. I will have to work hard to stop that gap getting bigger, and even harder to close in on it. I had the good sense to tip against the Bombers (much to Jane’s dismay) so at least I got that one right. It’s good to see the Doggies at the top of the ladder at this early stage of the season, hopfully they can keep it up.
